Anna in the Community

Chef Anna was raised with the Greek tradition of Philotimo "love of honor". Though it doesn't have an exact English translation, Chef Anna embodies it to her core.  It's not just a tattoo but her purpose of life and giving back. To not only do things with business and financial gain in mind but to build and help a community and to share your gift with others to create a better future and world.  She has dedicated her ability to share through wellness and healthy nutrition.

Anna has lived this out in many ways, from preparing the first Raw, Vegan and Gluten free meal for the troops at Quanitco to teaching health and cooking for inner city schools. There is hardly a local charity she hasn't been involved with.  From the Liver Foundation, Autism Speaks with Michael Symon, United Way, the Floss Foundation from local Cleveland Cavalier official DJ Steph Floss, Cleveland Clinic, where she was part of Michelle Obamas' healthy initiative and spoke with Dr. Mark Hyman fromFunctional Medicine, Chefs Sensation with Michael Symon, Dinner in the Dark, and currently on the committee for the American Heart Association for their annual Heart and Stroke Ball. Chef Anna also did the a six-course meal at the pristine Culinary Vegetable institute with Farmer Lee Jones as the host.  It was the first RAW, Vegan and Gluten free Greek-inspired dinner and had the feel of a big Greek wedding. There is never a no for a children school program, a demo, a cleanse or a chef planned special menu for someones home.  Community is truly something Anna keeps at the center of all she does.  This love for her home town lead her to appear on the Food Network shows "Guys Grocery Games" and "Cutthroat Kitchen" and also on CNBC LeBron James show "Cleveland Hustles".  She wanted to make Cleveland a healthy hub nationally.  Though she hasn't won yet she has promised a comeback soon for the Food Network.
